How to use the results
Results depend on the values and planning assumptions entered. They are not a final equipment selection, installation design, controller setting or guarantee of performance. Confirm the selected model’s operating capacity, salt dose, service flow, water-chemistry limits and installation requirements with its manufacturer and a qualified installer.
Water quality
The calculator is not a drinking-water safety assessment. It does not identify contaminants. Manganese is excluded from the numerical capacity calculation. Obtain appropriate testing and a separate treatment assessment for unknown chemistry or suspected contamination.
